Open your MySQL database management tool and execute the following SQL query:
UPDATE `Joomla_Database`.`#_users` SET `password` = MD5( 'New_Password' )
WHERE `#_users`.`username` ='Admin_Username';
In the above query change Your_Database with your actual Joomla database name. Set your database prefix instead of #_users (for example if the prefix is 'jos_' the table string will be 'jos_users').
Enter the new password and your Joomla 2.5 admin username instead of the following strings: New_Password and Your_Joomla_Admin_Username.
These are list of tables in your Joomla 2.5 installation that keeps all the information and manages your site. Do not delete or change any of the tables if you do not know what you are doing. You can potentially corrupt your database, lose information or delete your whole database.
Open your Database and access the Users Table in phpMyAdmin
You will see all the table names are prefixed with some letters, i.e. dfhd_
The table names are on the right of the Underscore.
